Anna Silk is a Fredericton resident, and is the daughter of Peter Silk, who was an academic. Her mother, Ilkay Silk, had a diverse range of skills, such as being able perform, direct, produce, write plays, teach, and be Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Anna was born in Fredericton. She is the daughter of the couple Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Her mother is a "English-Turkish Cypriot ex-pat" born in Britain. Anna remembers attending performances for her productions as a young girl and watching her mom working. In her early years, Anna appeared in several commercials. Anna was able to move to Toronto, Ontario, for the purpose of pursuing her acting. In the decade that followed, she eventually made the move to Los Angeles. She met Seth Cooperman in 2007 at an actor's workshop in Los Angeles, and they got engaged in the year the year 2009. Anna was a convert to the Jewish faith at the age of 11, after having converted to Judaism. They were wed in a civil ceremony in December this year. They then reaffirmed their vows during a Jewish ceremony held in Fredericton, in April 2011. Bo's romance with Lauren, played by Zoie Parker, was included on CNN's list of the Top Television Couples of All Time and was named E!'s Top TV Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television.
