Her parents are Harvey Welker, a Native American father along with Julie Welker, an African American mother. Her mother is an agent, and her father works as a civil engineer. Walker completed her education through the Germantown Friends School (Germantown Area) in Philadelphia, graduating in 1994. Then, in 1998 she earned her graduation in 1998 from Harvard College with a Bachelor's degree. Welker has been since the age of 20 to John Hughes who is a famous marketing director at Merck Philadelphia. They have two kids. In 2014 they began having an affair with one other. John husband of hers has an age difference of four years compared to her. Their relationship was progressing so well, they decided to take it to the next stage.
